Sharhabil Bin Hassneh is one of the most important people in Islamic history. His life is famous for many achievements, but is best known as one of the most trusted companions of the Prophet Muhammad.
He was highly educated and a talented writer and even helped to write the revelation. Eighteen years after the journey of the Prophet Muhammad from Mecca to Medina, Sharhabil Bin Hassneh died and was buried in Jordan. A grave shrine was built in the area that now bears his name and is one of the most important religious sites in Jordan. It is less than 10 miles (16 km) away from SHE.
