There are three main objectives for the Sharhabil Bin Hassneh EcoPark (SHE):
- Highlight the importance of preserving ecological habitats in the historic Jordan River Valley
- Increase public awareness and interest among both the local and international communities
- Promote sustainable development efforts in local communities

Joint Approach
SHE is an extension of the Neighbors Path program which provides open spaces for local communities. Neighbors Paths are walking trails that are one aspect of the Good Water Neighbors Program. Both programs aim to increase public awareness of shared water and environmental concerns and promote cross border cooperation for solving them. More information can be found about them here.

By promoting local ecotourism, we help bring awareness to issues like water allocation and environmental problems and solutions while also helping community development. The commitment of the local communities, particularly the Bedouins, turned the ruined, desolate, and overgrazed land into a small paradise.
